Where to get Narcan (Naloxone)

As of April 2023, here are the ways we know of to obtain Narcan:

1.  Walworth County Department of Health and Human Services has free doses, onsite in their OAK Box (Overdose Aid Kit.)  OAK Boxes are all self-serve.

2.  Open Arms Free Clinic in Elkhorn provides free doses to anyone requesting it during their clinic hours.

3.  Pharmacists can write a prescription for it, but not all pharmacies carry it.

4.  All Walgreens can give the nasal script for Narcan (2 doses).  They do run it through insurance though.  Badgercare would be no cost, but without insurance it is about $130.
