Nalox Boxes coming to Walworth County!

    Mission

To provide prevention, education, and community awareness to adults and youth about drug, alcohol, and tobacco abuse using the voice of concerned citizens, law enforcement, treatment professionals, school personnel, and the testimonials of those in recovery.

    Goal

To improve the health and wellbeing of Walworth County residents by decreasing addictive behaviors surrounding alcohol, tobacco, and prescription and illegal drug use.

    Objectives

     1. Create and implement curriculum to be used with elementary school students starting in 3rd grade to educate on addictive behaviors and teach prevention and coping skills.

    2. Increase employee use of employee assistance programs, decreasing absenteeism and increasing productivity.

    3. Increase community wide awareness of the scope of the problem and resources available to help, changing the perception of addiction from a moral failing to a chronic disease.
